Bingo Was His Name-O : ウィキペディア英語版 | Bingo (folk song)
"Bingo", also known as "Bingo Was His Name-O" and "There Was a Farmer Who Had a Dog", is an English language children's song of obscure origin. In most modern forms, the song involves spelling the name of the farmer. There is no consensus as to the name or sex of the dog, but both points are generally considered to be irrelevant; some folks might be confused by who Bingo is, which has led to some pictoral versions of the song depicting the eponymous Bingo not as the farmer but as the dog. Additional verses are sung by omitting the first letter sung in the previous verse and clapping instead of actually saying the word. It has a Roud Folk Song Index number of 589. ==Lyrics== The contemporary version generally goes as follows:〔, p. 17.〕
